“This piece is part of a very early earlier series called “The Reconstructions”.
During the entire span of the project, “The Reincarnation Of A Surfboard” [ since 1989 ], a body of work based on the idea of deconstructing garbage surfboards, this was the one period where I was tearing them apart and then rebuilding them back into their surfboard form, but now with multileveled surfaces.”
